The CRITTM2A(Center of research and technical and technological innovation in engines and automotive acoustics) in Bruay-La-Buissière.
The CRITT M2A is a technical and technological center, unique in Northern Europe for its tests on motor performances and vehicle acoustics and also serves as an initial and continuous training tool. This center offers CAD/calculations in the mechanics of fluids and vibratory simulations. It works in partnership with big automobile parts suppliers (Bosal France, Bridgestone France, Française de Mécanique, STA,...) as well as government agencies (ONERA, Université d’Artois,...).

The LCPA (Physical chemistry laboratory) in Bruay-La-Buissière
This research laboratory from the University d'Artois is presently researching problems connected with energetics and with the environment. Recognized by the CNRS, the LCPA is studying thermal degradation of materials and also the issue of pollutant gaseous emissions produced by automobiles and industrial furnaces.
