The river and maritime ports

The river network in Nord-Pas de Calais and the ports of North-Western Europe.

Do not forget that the Nord-Pas-de-Calais has at its disposal large ports:
In France, Calais is the leading port for passenger transport, Boulogne-Sur-Mer is the leading port for commercial fishing and Dunkirk is the leading port for dry merchandise and the third port in international commerce.
Its feeder service connecting Dunkirk to Rotterdam, Felixstowe or the Havre connects it to any port in the world.

Thanks to a dense river network (677 km of canals and rivers, 192 km of wide gauge canals) the Béthune area, by way of the river port of Béthune-Beuvry, benefits from the wide gauge river motorway that connects it to the Belgian network and Northern Europe (from Dunkirk via Dourges, Lille, Valenciennes, Gand, Terneuzen towards Anvers and Rotterdam).

With the river port of Béthune-Buevry, equipped with container terminals, your multimodal logistical partner (river, maritime, railway, roads), you benefit from a complete logistical tool, efficient and accessible from and towards the large European centres.
